Job Description
What We're Looking For
Experience in preparing fresh, good honest restaurant meals, snacks , sandwiches etc. This position would be ideal for someone with a school catering, cafe or pub food background. Working hours are family friendly.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner
- Monitor food quality and presentation
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Experience working in a cafe or pub kitchen
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and food safety regulations
- Excellent communication and team skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
- Strong organisational skills
