A digital publisher located in Crewe is looking to recruit an part time credit controller - 18 - 21 hours per week.
This is a challenging role, working in a fast, deadline driven industry. Applicants must have at least 5 years proven experience, collecting on Business to Business trade debt from both the UK and overseas clients.
An understanding and ability to escalate the collection activity is required together with evidence of dispute resolution.
The successful candidate will be required to ensure the timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
Excellent telephone and written communication skills are required together with excellent time management.
Other duties will include generating invoices and credit notes and cash posting.
CICM qualified or part qualified is preferred but not essential.
This role is a 18 - 21 hours per week, working Monday - Wednesday; it will be an office based role with some home working and will require complete flexibility to work on debt collection outside of normal office hours in order to accommodate collection activity with overseas clients
Skills
Proficiency in Sage accounting software.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
