Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent service while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, maintaining communication with the kitchen team, and upholding our high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload items, performing heavy lifting as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and customer signatures. Communicate effectively with the kitchen team regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Provide exceptional customer service during each delivery interaction.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is an advantage. Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial. Strong driving skills with a valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., driver). Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
