We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting

pharmacy medications

to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while maintaining a high standard of customer service. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Safely drive a

personal vehicle

to deliver

pharmacy medications

to designated locations. Ensure all deliveries are handled with care and in compliance with pharmacy regulations. Load and unload items, ensuring security and confidentiality of medication deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure reliability for deliveries. Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and any discrepancies. Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and pharmacy delivery guidelines. Assist in the pharmacy or warehouse as needed, including stock organisation.

Compensation & Mileage

Drivers must use their

own vehicle

for deliveries. We reimburse

0.40 per mile

, covering fuel costs and vehicle depreciation.

Hourly pay: 12.21 per hour.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with

handling and delivering pharmacy medications

is an advantage. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations is beneficial. Strong communication skills for professional interaction with customers and pharmacy staff. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
