Job Description

We are looking to hire a part-time delivery driver in our busy Livingston branch. This includes a minimum of 15 hours per week but we may require more hours as and when needed.

Duties will include:

Safely load and unload materials on to the van, ensuring proper handling of heavy or fragile goods. Must have or be willing to get your forklift license. Must be physically fit. You will be required to deliver items such as boilers, radiators, oil tanks, bathroom suites and more with the use of pallet truck/sack barrow. You will be required to collect signatures for all deliveries and accurately file paperwork. Conduct daily checks of your van and report any issues to branch manager. Work closely with sales team to ensure smooth delivery operations and resolve any delivery issues efficiently. Maintain a clean and tidy workplace inline with Health and Safety rules and regulations.
Requirements:

Computer literate. Full UK driving license. Must be punctual and reliable. Your role will be customer facing so a smart appearance and outgoing, friendly personality is essential.
This is a temporary, part-time position. May lead to a permanent position. No weekend work required.
