Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Nurse to join our family focussed dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining high standards of infection control and organisation within the clinic.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient operations Prepare treatment rooms, sterilise instruments, and ensure all equipment is ready for use Provide support to patients before, during, and after treatments, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules effectively Adhere to strict infection control protocols in line with health and safety regulations Offer guidance to patients regarding post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices Support administrative tasks such as updating patient information and managing stock levels of dental supplies

Skills

Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment Good IT skills for maintaining accurate records and managing appointments Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care is advantageous Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail Compassionate approach with a focus on delivering outstanding patient service
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 17 per week
