Join our Modern, private dental practice as a Part Time Dental Nurse/Receptionist! This role requires an experienced dental nurse, to provide an excellent level of care mainly from the front desk. We require someone who is confident in treatment planning, talking patients through the services that we offer and managing the clinicians diary, ensuring our patients receive exceptional care and service in a friendly, professional environment. You'll be the welcoming face of our practice, assisting with patient care, managing appointments, and maintaining smooth daily operations. This role would be well suited to someone who is familiar with the compliance side of things, well organised and happy to multi-task, Perhaps a dental nurse that is looking to move towards the Administration and running of the practice side of things. Dental nursing duties will be required more at times of staff absence, additional hours will also be available during staff holiday. Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and efficiently check them in and out of the practice
Reception duties such as answering phone calls, handling patient inquiries, treatment planning and processing payments
Assist the dental team during procedures by preparing instruments and decon during busy periods
Maintain accurate patient records, updating details and treatment notes diligently
Manage appointment scheduling to optimize clinic flow and minimize wait times
CQC Compliance admin duties
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols
Skills
Previous experience as a dental nurse (Ideally 5 years +)
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is required
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work part-time hours, including some evenings or a Saturday if needed
A proactive attitude with attention to detail and a commitment to patient care
