We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation within the clinic. Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised.
Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and offering reassurance to anxious patients.
Maintain strict hygiene standards by sterilising equipment and ensuring the treatment rooms are clean and organised.
Support with administrative tasks such as updating patient records using IT systems, scheduling appointments, and managing patient correspondence.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Support patients before, during, and after treatment to ensure their comfort and understanding of post-treatment care.
Skills
Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Good IT skills for maintaining accurate patient records and managing appointment schedules.
Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care is advantageous.
