Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas. Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficiency. Use cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting or moving items.

Locations & shifts available

Brighton: 1.5 hours each day Monday to Friday after 6pm (Fridays work can be done on the weekend if you prefer)

Brighton: 1.5 hours on a Tuesday evening and again Friday evening or anytime at the weekend if you prefer.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 7.5 per week
