Background to the Role




HCI Systems are looking to recruit a Finance Administrator to support the Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will have had experience working in a business administration role, and it would be advantageous if this was in a finance department. The role is suitable for someone looking for part time hours and some flexibility can be offered. The ideal candidate will support the Finance Manager with Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger admin tasks and also assist in other areas of the business as required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities



Processing & completing sale invoices Allocating payments & reconciling customer accounts Credit control managing overdue balances chasing & updating current position of outstanding debts. Processing and collating purchase ledger invoices Checking values, matching & completing purchase invoices. Supporting with allocation of some purchase ledger payments. Liaising with work colleagues to resolve queries / issues. Support with end of month management information and weekly reporting Any other ad hoc duties.

You thrive under pressure, embrace personal challenges, and adapt well to change. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is essential. Ideally, you will also have previous experience in sales and purchase ledger accounting, and familiarity with MRPeasy, Xero, or similar systems. Your ability to make valuable connections and develop insightful plans makes you a key asset in any fast-paced and dynamic environment.
