If you are excited by the above, we are seeking a a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Key Accountabilities
Accounts Receivable & Payable
Chase outstanding payments and follow up with customers
Raise customer invoices/credits
Send customer account statements and resolve payment-related queries
Raise and manage disputes with suppliers and customers
Maintain purchase ledger including bills, purchase orders, and payment communications
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
Banking & Transactions
Prepare payment runs and ensure timely processing
Reconcile bank transactions and ensure accuracy across accounts
Payroll & Journals
Process salary and weekly wage journals
Financial Reporting
Prepare payment runs and ensure timely processing
Reconcile bank transactions and ensure accuracy across accounts
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
AAT qualification or equivalent (or working towards)
Experience in a fast-paced finance environment
Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and financial principles
Proficiency in MS Excel
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution
