Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in horticulture and landscape maintenance, with experience in both groundskeeping and garden care. This role involves working outdoors, tending to various plants, flowers, and landscapes to ensure they thrive and remain aesthetically pleasing.

Duties

Utilise hand tools and power tools for planting, pruning, and maintaining garden beds. Irrigate plants effectively to promote healthy growth and manage water resources efficiently. Perform regular groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and weeding. Assist in the design and layout of garden spaces to enhance visual appeal. Monitor plant health, identifying pests or diseases and implementing appropriate solutions. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects on time.

Experience

Previous experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in gardening is advantageous. Knowledge of growing techniques for various plants and flowers is beneficial. A strong understanding of irrigation systems and their maintenance will be an asset. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in an outdoor environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 10 per week
