We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and enthusiastic
Part-Time Gardener
to join our team and help maintain and enhance our landscaped grounds with a focus on soft landscaping. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for horticulture, planting schemes, and garden aesthetics to play a key role in maintaining a high-quality outdoor environment.
You will work closely with our management team to help shape and develop the visual appeal of our gardens, green spaces, and communal planting areas.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake soft landscaping tasks including planting, pruning, hedge trimming, mulching, and general garden maintenance.
Design and maintain planting schemes suitable for the season, location, and usage.
Ensure all planted areas, flower beds, shrubs, and borders are well maintained.
Carry out seasonal planting, soil preparation, and plant care.
Monitor plant health and suggest improvements or replacements where needed.
Assist with occasional garden improvement or redesign projects.
Maintain a tidy and presentable outdoor environment at all times.
Communicate regularly with the management team regarding work completed and future planting ideas.
Key Skills & Requirements
Previous gardening or soft landscaping experience is essential.
A strong interest and knowledge in plants, flowers, and garden design.
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Knowledge of seasonal horticultural tasks and best practices.
Competency in using basic gardening tools and equipment.
Attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics.
A friendly, approachable manner and excellent time management skills.
Relevant horticultural qualifications or training (preferred but not essential).
