Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Golf Shop Attendant to join our team for the Summer months. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf and excellent customer service skills. As a Golf Shop Attendant, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional experience for our guests, assisting with sales, and maintaining the overall appearance of the golf shop. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a welcoming manner. Sell golf merchandise, including clubs, apparel, and accessories. Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience. Maintain an organised and visually appealing shop environment. Handle transactions accurately using basic maths skills. Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette and assist customers with inquiries. Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and customers. Ensure that all equipment is clean and well-maintained.

Skills

Strong selling skills with a focus on upselling techniques. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks. Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
