Job Opportunity: Part-Time Handy Person

Due to an increase in fleet we are looking for a part-time handy person to join our existing team.

Position:

Part-Time Handy Person

Schedule:

3 days per week, 8 hours per day plus breaks (Please note, due to seasonal variations there may be an opportunity to do extra shifts).

Monday, Friday and alternate Saturdays/Sundays.

Earliest start time:

7.30am, latest finish time 5.30pm. Start and end times are dependent on daylight hours and occupancy of our holiday homes.

Hourly Rate:

12.30/hour

Holiday:

You would be entitled to 28 days holiday per year (pro rate for part time employees - 17 Days) as well as being eligible for our company pension scheme.

Responsibilities:

Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.

Ensuring premises are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Addressing ad-hoc issues promptly and efficiently.

Collaborating with staff to meet the needs of the site.

The applicant would also be expected to do various checks and set up procedures for our hot tubs - full training will be provided in this area. This will be a primary task on our changeover days.

Requirements:

Experience in general maintenance or similar roles.

Practical skills across a range of trades (basic plumbing, carpentry, etc.).

Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Flexibility to work a rotating schedule.
