Derwent Primary School is seeking to appoint highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated, passionate and innovative team.

General Information

22 hours per week (Term Time only)

Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday

8:30am - 4:00pm (5pm Wednesday's to attend staff meeting)

Fixed term contract until 31st August 2026

16544.00 - 17551 per annum

The successful candidate will:

have a HLTA qualification or equivalent have experience of whole class teaching in the primary phase be passionate and committed to improving the life chances of our pupils and making a difference; be a positive role model who can inspire and motivate;
can provide a high level of support to children, catering for their individual needs;

support and champion the school's ethos and values;
be a team player who is positive and flexible.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: 16,544.00-17,551.00 per year

Expected hours: 22 per week
