Overview

We are seeking a part time housekeeper to join our team in maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and possess excellent customer service skills.

Days to be agreed but the shifts will include some weekend morning work. Shifts start from 7am. Shift lengths can vary depending on the amount of letting rooms that need remaking each day but a typical shift is approx 3-4 hours.

Responsibilities

- Clean and tidy all areas of the hotel and pub, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces

- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to good standards

- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing

- Notify management of any damages or repairs needed

- Assist with laundry duties as required

Requirements

- Strong customer service skills

- Proficiency in cleaning practices

- Attention to detail and good time management skills

Shifts start at 7am and finish times vary depending on the number of bedrooms to clean. We have 7 guest rooms so average finish time is 11am but it does vary.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.00 per hour
