Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer networking, mechanical knowledge, and electrical experience. This role involves the maintenance, and repair of various systems including CCTV, Intruder Alarm Systems, equipment. The Service Engineer will work closely with clients to ensure their systems are functioning optimally and provide technical support as needed.

Responsibilities

Maintain, and repair CCTV systems and Intruder Alarm Systems in accordance with industry standards. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations and repairs. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance. Provide technical support and training to clients on system operations. Maintain accurate records of service activities and client interactions.

Requirements

Proven experience in the Intruder Alarm Industry Familiarity with CCTV installation and maintenance practices. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and reading schematics. Experience in system design for telecommunications or similar fields is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. A valid driving licence is essential due to travel requirements for site visits.
