Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, as well as the ability to prepare a variety of meals efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive high-quality meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences.

Duties

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus. Assist in meal preparation and ensure all food is prepared in line with food safety standards. Be able to take orders from Customers on slower days. Clean the kitchen at the end and during a shift Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge. You May be asked to take orders on the Till.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred, but not essential for enthusiastic candidates willing to learn. Knowledge of food safety practices and meal preparation techniques is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. A passion for cooking and an eagerness to develop culinary skills further.
