Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant's menu and recipes.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all cooking areas are hygienic and well-maintained.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling and storage of food products.
Taking orders and communicating with the customers.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management.
Participate in the development of new recipes and menu items as needed.
Skills
Proven experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred.
Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques.
