Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Participate in catering events, providing high-quality service and support during meal service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely meal delivery. Support with inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting any shortages or issues.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment or restaurant is preferred. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of meal preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy setting. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues. A passion for food and catering, with an eagerness to learn and develop culinary skills further. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs.
