Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate self employed Make-up Artist to join our dynamic team. This will be a fully flexible, self employed role so own client base is essential, however we are a busy hair salon with a lot of potential new clients also, which we will be pushing for you.

Working hours are up to the individual, this is flexible, commission will be on a 50/50 basis.

The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and an eye for detail, providing exceptional make-up application services to clients. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.

Duties

Provide professional make-up application services for various occasions, including weddings, photoshoots, and special events. Consult with clients to determine their desired look and offer expert advice on make-up styles and products. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and products are sanitised and ready for use. Stay updated on the latest make-up trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with current options. Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish. Assist in promoting services through social media platforms and other marketing channels.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Proficient in make-up application techniques for diverse skin types and tones. Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with clients to understand their needs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for beauty and fashion trends, with a commitment to continuous learning in the field of make-up artistry.

Pay: Up to 60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
