Job Overview
We are seeking a Part time Mechanic or improver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a understanding of mechanical systems and have hands-on experience in carrying out basic vehicle servicing and replacement of standard wearable items such as discs, pads, tyres, suspension components. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and vehicles, contributing to overall efficiency and safety within the organisation.
This job is for one day per week and can be flexible on what day. Ideal for someone who wants experience.
Duties
Conduct inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical components. Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and manual techniques. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Qualifications
Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are advantageous. A valid driving licence is preferred.
