About The Role

As the largest independent provider of NHS services, Practice Plus Group is delivering a new model of Integrated Urgent Care that reduces pressures on services and staff.

This fantastic job opportunity is challenging, and very rewarding, with every day you will be working in a fast, continuous and a very busy role, being part of a compassionate team bringing together the NHS 111 service, making an impact on people\'s lives.

To train to be a highly trained advisor you will need to be committed to attend one of our training dates (full paid).

The full-time programmes runs over a four week period whilst the part-time training runs over a six week period.

Our next training dates available are:

• Saturday 23rd September - Part Time - Sat-Sun (9am-5pm) Tues, Weds, Thurs (5pm-9.30pm) for 6 weeks
• Monday 9th October - Full Time - Monday to Friday (9:00am-5:00pm) for 4 weeks

Once you\'ve completed your training, you can join the team on a part time contract.

Please note we have no shifts available between 1200-1800 on weekdays. We can offer early morning, evening, nights including weekends.

Rates of pay:

• \xc2\xa310.91 per hour- daytime and during training (07:00-23:00)
• \xc2\xa313.56 per hour - contractual night rate (23:00-07:00)

About You

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience working and communicating with the public (over the phone or face to face/ or previous Call Centre experience
• Ability to use own initiative as appropriate
• to stay calm in the event of the unexpected and under pressure
• to communicate with a variety of different people and build rapport
• to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability and willingness to undertake competency-based training both initially and as ongoing requirement for the post to meet service requirements.
• Demonstrate ability to work in a team
• Ability to use initiative and be aware of limitations
• Ability to deal sensitively with distressing, emotional situations
• Ability to relate to others and adapt approach accordingly
• Ability to work unsocial hours including 24/7 shift work and Bank Holidays
• Must be eligible to work in the UK and over 18 years of age
