Part Time Nursery Practitioner - Aylestone

Monday - Friday. 1pm-6pm daily.

The Role

We are looking for caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our dedicated team in Aylestone. As a key person, you will play a vital role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing.

What you'll do:

Act as a key person for a group of children, planning and recording their learning journeys. Deliver creative, engaging, and educational activities in line with the EYFS. Provide high-quality care, supporting children's health, hygiene, and safety. Build strong relationships with parents, offering regular updates on their child's progress. Work collaboratively with colleagues, contributing ideas and supporting the wider nursery team. Take part in training, meetings, and parents' evenings as required.

What we're looking for:

Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (GCSE English/Maths or Functional Skills if required). Good knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding. Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to train). Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable. A genuine passion for helping children learn and grow.

Hours & Pay

Part Time, Monday - Friday - 1pm-6pm Salary: from 12.27 an hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
