Job Description

We are looking for a part time Nursery Nurse/Practitioner to join the team in at New Beginnings Day Nursery an independent day nursery. The working hours would be 1pm - 6pm on a Monday and Tuesday. Level 3 Early Years Qualification would be desirable but not essential.

To have enthusiasm alongside aspirations to achieve, maintaining and enhancing the high standards and culture of the Nursery. Be a proactive member of the Nursery team, having initiative and promoting and creating positive relationships with the children, parents and other members of the Nursery Team

To ensure the children are valued as individuals encouraging by offering a child-centred approach in a caring loving environment, encouraging the children's all-round development to give them the best opportunity to achieving their full potential

To be fully aware of safeguarding of the children, promoting their health and welfare in a safe re-assuring environment

Have a good knowledge of the EYFS framework and be able follow the welfare and development goals it sets out for the children

To be able to make accurate and effect assessments of the children during their stages of development and document their progress

To have good communication skills and standard of written English
