Job Role - Yard Driver (part time)

Salary - 12.82 an hour

Location - BCA Bristol (Avonmouth)

Hours: various part time shifts available as follows:

SHIFT 1 - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday (32 hours)

SHIFT 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (30 hours)

SHIFT 3 - Wednesday to Saturday (32 hours)

SHIFT 4 - Monday to Wednesday (24 hours)

SHIFT 5 - Monday, Thursday, Friday (24 hours)

SHIFT 6 - Monday, Thursday, Saturday (24 hours)

Main purpose of the role

To assist with the daily operations of a busy auction centre through driving and parking various types of vehicles around the yard. Due to the size of our Auction Centres our Yard Operative roles may require a lot of walking and being on your feet throughout the day in all types of weather conditions.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Moving a high volume of vehicles between the yard

Be responsible for jump starting vehicles when needed, on-site training provided

Politely refer any issues, queries, or complaints to the relevant manager

Undertake any other tasks in the yard department to ensure that operational requirements are met

To be successful, you'll bring some of the following experience with you:

Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence

Happy to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions

Able to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines

Willingness to help other departments out when needed
