We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.
Duties
Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered during transit.
Communicate effectively withstaff to coordinate deliveries and resolve any discrepancies.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving a commercial vehicle is an advantage.
Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
