22-24K Gross annual
Hours per Week:
Full Time - 21 hours a week. Flexibility required, as work is dependent on Madrasa and mosque opening hours. Additionally some supplementary Islamic schools operate during the weekend.

About Us
Zubeda Welcome is a values-based UK charity dedicated to supporting refugee children by enabling access to Islamic education. As the charity and its services grow, we are expanding our community engagement work across the UK and are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Project Coordinator to join our team in Bradford.
About the Role
You'll develop and manage relationships with madrasas and mosques to help refugee and asylum-seeker children access quality Islamic education. This includes matching applicants to institutions, negotiating fee support, and representing Zubeda Welcome at events.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with madrasas and mosques
Match refugee children with local Islamic education providers
Negotiate fee reductions or free placements for children
Guide families through the registration process
Conduct madrasa monitoring visits and provide feedback
Represent Zubeda Welcome at community events and fundraisers
Support with admin, reporting, and data management
Collaborate closely with internal teams and report to the CEO
Person Specification
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, organised and proactive
Empathetic, confident, and comfortable meeting new people
Willing and able to travel frequently in Northern UK
Familiar with Muslim communities and Islamic institutions
Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Access to own car
Understanding of Zakat and its use in charitable work (training provided)
Desirable: Multilingual, DBS-certified
