We are seeking a reliable and skilled part time driver to join our team to transport SEN children to and from school. The candidate will need to hold a PSV licence to drive minibuses and will have to undergo an enhanced DBS check. The position is part time, term time only but the opportunity for additional work may be available. We pay 20 days holiday which cannot be taken during term time along with 8 statutory bank holidays. This job would suit a retired/semi retired bus or coach driver or someone looking to reduce their working hours. The driver will be accompanied by a passenger assistant. Approx hours will be 7am-9am and 2.30pm - 4.30pm.
Responsibilities
Must keep CPC and tacho card up to date.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in safe operating condition.
Check oil and coolant levels weekly.
Communicate effectively with passenger assistant and parents.

Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Experience
Previous experience as a PSV driver is essential.
A valid PSV driving licence is essential for this role.
Must be over 21 years of age
Strong communication skills in English are required to interact with team members and customers effectively.
A good understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in driving is necessary.
