We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires excellent organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a strong commitment to patient welfare.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide high-quality patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling using IT systems. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Sterilise dental instruments and maintain a clean and organised work environment. Support the dental team in administrative tasks as required, including managing inventory and ordering supplies.

Qualifications

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding. Proficient in IT systems related to dental practice management is preferred but not essential. Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated.
