We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling using dental software. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient experiences. Conduct administrative tasks such as managing inventory of dental supplies and equipment.

Skills

Proficient in English with strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to provide compassionate patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions. Experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software are required.
