About Us
Harley Street Physiotherapy is one of London's leading private physiotherapy providers, established in 1987 and continuing to grow across multiple locations. We're known for our exceptional patient care, supportive team culture, and commitment to professional development.
We're now looking for a friendly, professional Receptionist to join our front-of-house team at our Kensington clinic, with regular Saturday hours and flexibility to cover holidays and absences across our sites.
The Role
As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient clinic experience. You'll manage front desk operations, support the clinical team, and ensure smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and client queries
Answer phone calls and emails promptly and courteously
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Support clinic operations and marketing activities
Liaise with physiotherapists, other healthcare professionals, and the admin team
Attend virtual team meetings and assist with general administrative tasks
Working Pattern
We're looking for someone who can commit to:
Saturdays:
9:00 AM - 2:00 PM at our Kensington clinic
Annual leave cover:
Approximately 8 weeks per year
Sickness cover:
Approximately 4 weeks per year
Ad hoc cover:
Occasional weekday or half-day shifts (approx. 4 weeks per year)
December 2025:
Full-time weekday shifts available to cover planned annual leave
Cover may take place at any of our clinics (Wimpole Street or Kensington). We'll provide notice -- typically 1-2 weeks in advance for holiday cover, and as soon as possible for sickness cover. If you can't cover an entire period, we'll discuss suitable alternatives.
About You
Essential:
At least 1 year's experience in a reception, customer service, or administrative role
Excellent written and spoken English
Confident using Mac systems, Google Workspace, and practice/accounting software (e.g. Xero)
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking
Friendly, professional, and confident in handling confidential information
Desirable:
Experience in a healthcare or physiotherapy environment
Degree-level education
