Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our hard working team at Belfast Angling Centre. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales transactions, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers. This position requires a proactive individual who is work orientated and can multitask.
Duties
Greet customers and assist them in locating products within the store. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Maintain product displays and ensure the sales floor is tidy and well-organised. Provide information about products, promotions, and services to enhance customer satisfaction. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner. Collaborate with team members to maintain store standards. Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management as needed.
Skills
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in product displays and transactions. Angling experience would be an advantage but not a deal breaker.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
Work Location: In person
