Overview

We are looking for a Seasonal Sales Assistant to join our busy team in our St Ives store, Ocean Gallery, located on the harbour front overlooking the stunning views of the bay!

This is a retail role and experience is preferred but not essential. You will be required to greet and serve customers as they enter the store, keep the shop clean and tidy, replenish stock throughout the day, deal with customer sales, queries, orders. Order stock and help receive deliveries, amongst other duties.

The successful candidate must be able to cover occasional staff holidays / sickness both weekdays and weekends, and be flexible to swap day shifts if a busy delivery is scheduled, though we will aim to keep shifts to the same 2 or possibly 3 days per week. There will be the possibility of additional shifts should the store require an extra pair of hands if really busy as well as possible evening shifts on Thur and Fri eve's.

Although we are advertising for a part time summer position the successful candidate can start training ASAP and there may be work extended past the summer holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 20 per week
