Job Summary:

The role consists of 16-18 hours per week (8-9 hours per day), based in our over 2's room. The successful candidate will be given a comprehensive induction and

supported to flourish

Responsibilities



Supervise and support the daily activities of children in the nursery, ensuring a

safe and nurturing environment

. Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress and needs. Assist in managing the nursery team,

providing leadership and guidance

to peers. Maintain compliance with childcare regulations and standards.

You will have the following experience, skills and attributes

-



Have a full and relevant level 3 qualification in Childcare. Be an inspiring practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development. Be proficient in leading the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning. Have strong written and verbal communication skills. A good working knowledge of the EYFS framework and the ability to support staff in using the framework. Experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice. Ideally previous experience in a similar role Be a good team player who enjoys working as part of a close-knit family Have the ability to use initiative and to create inspiring and creative activities Be positive, enthusiastic and enjoy working with children
