MovingLife is a global company specialising in portable travel mobility scooters, designed to give people with limited mobility more independence. Our flagship product is the ATTO scooter, which folds down into a compact, suitcase-size form (or splits into two lightweight parts), making it easier to store, transport by car or plane, and generally more travel-friendly than bulky mobility chairs. We also provide accessories so the user can tailor the ATTO to perfectly meet their needs.

Movinglife emphasises a personalised approach: we offer free, no-obligation consultations and product demonstrations (even home visits, where feasible) so customers can try the scooter and see whether it meets their mobility needs before committing.

At MovingLife everything is done in house, product design, manufacturing, after sales support and direct to customer sales. We have big ambitions for 2026 and beyond. We are growing our team, we are launching new innovative products and we are opening our second showroom which will allow our full range of products to be showcased and demonstrated in a modern, professional and relaxed way.

Job Overview



We want you to have a love of helping and engaging with people; to give the best support to our valued or potential customers.

You will be proactive, demonstrate initiative and be comfortable working independently but with the support of our wider team. There are two parts to the role:

First, you will advise potential customers who visit the showroom about our products. Demonstrate to them the product features and benefits. Help them to decide which product is most suitable for their needs and make their experience enjoyable, ensuring they leave the store with an excellent impression of MovingLife.

Second, to help fill your time during quieter store moments, you will be given an area of responsibility to help generate sales leads for the wider business. We are keen to generate more sales by organising group product demonstrations which our sales team will carry out. Group demonstrations for example could be carried out at care / residential homes or at various health support groups which our potential customers may be part of. You will be tasked to identify and make contact with the appropriate person and to book group product demo's for our sales team.

We will provide you with all product training you need and ensure you are comfortable with our customer relationship management (CRM) system. Prior sales experience is not necessary but we are looking for someone who has very good interpersonal skills, is proactive and can demonstrate initiative.

Summary Responsibilities



Sales and product demonstrations. Excellent standard of customer service Answer questions from customers through shop floor, via telephone and email Receive occasional stock shipments and ensure stock is merchandised correctly and levels are well maintained Show enthusiasm and interest in the products we sell Keep the shop floor and backroom office areas clean and clutter free Identify and contact key contacts to arrange group demonstrations for the wider sales team Ensure the CRM system and administration is kept up to date

Key Requirements



Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is advantageous Ability to work independently as well as being a strong team player. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, helpful, confident personality with an ability to listen and empathise Strong organisational abilities Must be flexible to cover extra work hours as and when required Ability to lift up to 20kg weight as part of the product demonstration Basic computer and numeracy skills

Job Type:



Part-time

Approximately 28 hours per week (although additional hours may be available).

Pay & Benefits:



12.71 per hour

Uncapped commission - no threshold, start earning from your first showroom sale and from group demo leads that convert to sales

Work Schedule:



We are planning to recruit two part time staff members to be flexible to cover showroom opening Monday - Sunday. Therefore, having flexibility with work days is key.

Monday to Sunday (we will agree which days you are required / available to work) Weekend availability (ability to cover at least one weekend day will be an advantage)
