We're looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Sports Coach to join our team, delivering high-quality, fun and inclusive sports sessions to primary-aged children during lunchtime and after-school clubs. For the right candidate, there may also be opportunities for additional hours delivering before school wraparound care, curriculum PE delivery (absence cover) and holiday camps.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about getting children active, enjoys working in schools, and is looking for flexible, part-time work in a supportive environment.
Your Role:
Plan and deliver safe, enjoyable and engaging sports sessions during lunch and after-school clubs
Create a positive, inclusive environment where all children can participate and thrive
Adapt activities to suit different age groups, abilities and needs
Build strong relationships with children, school staff and your wider coaching team
Appropriately manage the behaviour of all children participating within your clubs
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour management policies at all times
What We're Looking For:
Experience coaching or leading sports activities with children aged 4-11 (essential)
A relevant qualification in sports coaching, PE, childcare or youth work (minimum Level 1; Level 2+ desirable)
A confident, positive communicator who can engage and motivate young people
Someone who's reliable, professional and takes pride in their work
A current first aid and safeguarding certificate is a bonus - but training can be provided
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
