Elm Cottage Care Ltd is a small unique Residential Care Home for 8 Adults with Learning Disabilities and is looking for a highly motivated, caring, enthusiastic, honest, and reliable person to join their team of support workers within privately run care home in Dechmont; near Uphall and would be committed to maintaining a family environment whilst providing highest standards of care.

The Role:

To work within a small team who would support and assist the residents with all aspects of their daily life including but not limited to daily routines as set out within care plans, mealtimes, personal care, and domestic support. Support residents to go on social outings (some have their own cars) and attend appointments. To have a good understanding of effective communication in a professional manner with residents, colleges and families and other professionals. To support residents to partake in meaningful activities and promote independence as far as they are able.

What we are looking for:

Authority to work in UK is essential. Previous care home experience would be prefered.
