The Coach House is a specialist Nursing Home that provides Care and Support for people with Acquired Brain Injuries, Strokes and other Life Limiting Illness's. You will be supporting our service users to live fulfilled lives and to also provide Palliative Care.

You would be assisting them with Personal Care, adapting to their conditions and taking part in their favourite activities. If you believe you have the right values and skills to be a Support Worker, we would very much like to hear from you.

Hours for work: Part Time - 22.5 hours a week

Pay: 12.60 per hour

The role of a Support Worker:

Provide support with all personal care, and with any medical needs. Encourage the people in our care to learn to adapt to their conditions and develop their confidence. Promote independence, choice, and control. Work as part of a team of Support Workers to ensure the best care is given to everyone in the home. To monitor the physical and mental wellbeing of the people in our care and to report any concerns or changes. Take part in regular team meetings and to communicate within the Team. To take people to medical appointments and help them access the local and wider community

What we require from you to be a successful applicant:

Knowledge or experience of Nursing Care and Acquired Brain Injury. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

Be fully flexible across the hours and days of work.

To be able to work within a Team and be a team player. To be able to work under pressure and deal with potentially very challenging situations.
