With a recent expansion with the Borough Of Harrow we will be looking for career driven coaches for a brand new evolution in parks tennis in coaching for

Tennis in Harrow

who are the new tennis operator for Harrow from June 2025. We currently have a vacancy for Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays with 10-12 hours guaranteed group hours.

Our coaching philosophy is centred around three main pillars. We promote a 'team ethos' throughout our tennis community building positive and long lasting 'connections' with our players. We keep 'technical' teaching simple and develop 'physical' skills in a fun and engaging environment. The company has featured on ITV This Morning and BBC News showcasing our impact on tennis in the UK as well as winning Surrey Tennis LTA Awards three years in a row, including most recently winning LTA Park of the Year. https://emmawellstennis.com/

There is opportunity to up skill through PTR Coach Education for the successful coach, as Emma is Head of PTR for the UK, which will allow LTA independent learning points and offers additional qualification opportunities.

Person Specification

The candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience and must be LTA Accredited / + or equivalent (PTR, USTA, RPT accepted) and ideally experience in a parks landscape.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, energised professional who is looking for a great opportunity to work in a stimulating environment with a forward thinking team. They will lead by example demonstrating their passion for tennis, being a team player, being consistent in their delivery.

They will be a committed, reliable career coach, looking for a long term next step in their coaching career.

They will have excellent time management skills, interpersonal skills and be able to commit to a regular weekly schedule. Effective and adaptable communication skills are essential and the candidate will be confident working independently, leading and assisting as part of a team.

The candidate will hold valid DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding certificates.
