Role Overview

This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our end-of-day transport process -- debriefing drivers, checking paperwork, and maintaining essential compliance and performance records.

You'll work closely with drivers, the depot manager, and the wider operations team to make sure all deliveries are accurately recorded, vehicle issues are logged, and data is correctly reported at the end of each day.

Assist with monitoring driver performance, including delivery completion, late returns, and customer feedback. Support warehouse operations with inbound and outbound stock documentation. Maintain organised and up-to-date filing systems for PODs, route sheets, and driver records. Prepare or assist with daily/weekly transport reports and KPIs, including temperature compliance, on-time delivery, and mileage data. Support internal and external audit preparation when required. Communicate key end-of-day information (e.g. outstanding deliveries or missing data) to management.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in transport, logistics, or warehouse administration preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling paperwork and data. Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word. Confident communicator who can work effectively with drivers and managers. Reliable, flexible, and organised, with the ability to manage multiple driver returns efficiently.
