Part-Time Catering Van Driver - RARA Caterers

Manager / Head Chef

Hours:

10-20 flexible hours per week (including weekends)

Pay:

12.50-13.00 per hour + incentives (depending on experience)

RARA Caterers is seeking a

reliable and motivated Part-Time Catering Van Driver

to support our busy event operations. This role is ideal for someone with

experience in the hospitality or catering industry

, particularly in food van deliveries, and who has good local area knowledge and an understanding of

kitchen and food hygiene standards

.

Key Responsibilities:

Hold valid documentation proving the right to work in the UK (original documents required for verification). Work primarily on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) -- weekday shifts may be available occasionally. Assist with loading and unloading catering vans, following checklists for equipment and utensils. Support the kitchen team on-site with setup and post-event packing. Ensure leftover food and ingredients are promptly unloaded and stored upon return. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance, including refueling before event days or long-distance trips. Communicate effectively with event managers and team members to ensure smooth operations.
