Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista / server to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively and ensure food safety will contribute to an exceptional customer experience.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly service. Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Engage with customers to provide help and recommendations based on their preferences.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for processing transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour towards customers and colleagues.
