The Partner Services Manager exists to help our lawyers build
successful, sustainable and commercially strong practices
on the firm's platform.
This is a remote/home based role with travel to sites as required.
This role combines
commercial partnership

practice management

hands-on problem solving
. It sits alongside our lawyers as a trusted business partner and helps them grow by removing friction and ensuring they can focus their time on high-value client work.
The Partner Services Manager is the
first port-of-call
for lawyers and takes ownership of both the commercial health and day-to-day functioning of each practice, working proactively rather than reactively.

Core Responsibilities
1. Lawyer & Practice Partnership
Build strong, trusted relationships with lawyers across the firm.
Maintain a detailed understanding of each lawyer's:
+ Practice areas and specialisms
+ Target clients and typical matters
+ Commercial goals and growth plans
+ Capacity, priorities and pressure points Act as the primary point of contact for all practice-related questions, issues and support needs.
Be proactive in checking in with lawyers and anticipating needs.
2. Commercial Practice Support
Work with the firm's Marketing function to take a commercial view of each lawyer's practice, identifying:
+ Growth opportunities
+ Risks to performance or sustainability
+ Areas where the firm can better support success Support lawyers in thinking strategically about:
+ Client mix and quality
+ Types of work undertaken
+ Use of the platform and firm resources Flag trends, opportunities and issues to leadership where appropriate.
3. Practice Management & Delivery
Support the smooth day-to-day running of lawyer practices, including:
+ Coordinating and delivering internal support across operations, finance, tech, and compliance
+ Helping resolve operational or process issues quickly
+ Ensuring lawyers understand and can navigate firm processes and expectations Act as a problem-solver when issues arise, owning resolution end-to-end rather than passing problems on.
4. Issue Resolution & Risk Management
Act as a calm, trusted first point of escalation when challenges arise.
Identify and address issues early before they escalate.
Handle sensitive matters with discretion, professionalism and sound judgement.
Work with leadership and relevant teams to resolve more complex issues where needed.
5. Internal Coordination & Feedback Loop
Act as a bridge between lawyers and central teams.
Ensure lawyers are connected to the right people and resources at the right time.
Translate lawyer feedback into clear insights that help improve:
+ Processes
+ Systems
+ Services
+ Overall lawyer experience Contribute to the continuous improvement of the firm's platform and support model.

Skills & Experience
Required
Strong commercial judgement and understanding of professional services.
Experience in relationship management, client services, practice support or similar roles.
Ability to engage confidently and credibly with senior professionals.
Excellent problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
Comfortable operating at pace in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
Preferred
Experience working with lawyers or other fee-earning professionals.
Exposure to consultancy, platform or fee-share models.
Background in practice management, operations, business development or client success.
Measures of Success
Lawyers feel supported, understood and confident in the platform.
Issues are identified early and resolved quickly.
Practices operate smoothly with minimal friction.
Lawyers are able to focus more time on client work and growth.
Feedback from lawyers informs tangible improvements across the firm.
