Ipswich Town Football Club is looking for a Partnership Account Manager to join their busy Commercial Team.

The Club's ambitious plans to nurture and grow its partnership programme, provides an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking, and determined Partnership Account Manager to join our business and perform a key role within Ipswich Town Football Club.

Based at Portman Road and reporting into the Commercial Director, the Partnership Account Manager is responsible for the contractual delivery, management of Town's commercial partners, alongside delivering any governing body activation. This includes the management, planning, reporting, activation and day-to-day relationships with the Club's Official Partners and league contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:



To work with the Commercial Director and wider Commercial team to successfully execute the Club's partner acquisition and retention strategies.

Working with the Commercial Director, with responsibility for management of partnership planning, contractual compliance, and activation within the commercial partnerships function.

Working closely with the partners and Club's internal media and marketing teams to propose, develop and activate best in class engaging campaigns and communications.

Responsibility for partnership measurement and evaluation, including up to date reports on delivery of contractual rights and ensuring over delivery of a partner's key objectives.

Day-to-day account management of Club Partners.

Management of partnership experiential rights, including player appearances.

Management of partner ticket and hospitality requests, working closely with the hospitality and ticketing teams.

Updating partner matchday assets reporting internally & externally.

Attend Ipswich Town fixtures to ensure delivery of partner matchday activations.

Working with the sales department to propose potential activation campaigns for potential new partners.

Identifying areas of potential future incremental partner revenues, through cross selling, upselling or enhanced renewals with partners.

Maintain excellent communication between the Commercial team and other departments such as Marketing, Media, Operations, Ticketing and CME.

Coordinate internal meetings with other departments to develop innovative assets and ideas, that align with each target company's goals and objectives.

Ensure that partnerships meet agreed commercial revenue and profitability targets.

Plan and execute calendar of partner events.

Person Specification:



Knowledge and Experience:



Experience in delivering marketing/partnership activations

Experience in understanding a Commercial Partner's marketing and business objectives and creating a plan that can be executed in order to deliver on those objectives

Experience in providing detailed reporting on campaign success.

Worked in a past paced environment

An interest in football

Skills and Abilities:



Passion for engaging with key commercial partners, with strong account management and relationship skills

A proactive mentality when it comes to problem solving.

A passion for data and business intelligence, with the ability to communicate complex reports to senior external stakeholders

Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to project manage

Excellent presentation skills.

Passion for account management

Ability to create, grow and maintain commercial relationships

Education and Training:



Interest in their own continuous professional development

Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Other Requirements:



Full, clean UK driving license
