Role Summary

Your role will be to lead the Media Excellence Addressable team with product, planning and strategy development across all clients whilst also driving new business development and working in collaboration with agencies within the IPG portfolio. This role will be expected to innovate in all things addressable and drive adoption across all best practice created from the centre of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Product

  • Lead the development of Media Excellence addressable Go-To-Market materials, with a particular focus on how proprietary products and services fit into IPG\'s agency story telling.
  • Innovate and trail blaze by scoping the market for new solutions that build on, and enhance, Media Excellence addressable existing products and services.
  • Identify and prioritise new product and service opportunities, creating a framework for active pipeline management.
  • Own and oversee Media Excellence addressable training, collateral and ensure all outputs are best-in-class.
  • Work closely with Media Excellence addressable global and HQ product teams on driving new capabilities.
  • Drive thought leadership for internal education to other IPG agencies and to help drive coverage within the industry press.
  • Help promote Media Excellence addressable reputation within the industry by being available to join external panels and keynotes at events.
Client and Addressable Strategy
  • Oversee (with your team) the outputs of Tier 1 clients ensuring the Addressable Strategy Team are delivering in line with your mid to long roadmap for these clients.
  • Work on driving best-in-class practices across the Addressable Strategy Team.
  • Work to ensure Addressable Strategy Team understand our product priorities and oversee education on how to story tell and maintain an accountability framework across that team.
  • Drive standardisation in our addressable planning process across the teams.
  • Project yourself across IPG agency planning teams and clients as a change agent, driving the uptake in addressable products and services.
  • Work closely with CSO\'s and their strategy teams within fellow IPG agencies to help them understand how Media Excellence addressable can help solve problems and drive innovation for their clients.
Business Strategy
  • Work with the Managing Director of Media to define 1, 2 and 5-year business strategies, driving execution of complex and cross-function initiatives and feeding into Global Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Own the development of Media Excellence addressable Ways of Working framework to ensure world-class best practises are implemented across the business.
New Business Development
  • Identify and prioritise new client opportunities, owning the deployment of team responsibilities to explore those opportunities.
  • Be a first responder on fellow IPG agency pitches (Mainly UM, Initiative and MH, also other IPG agencies included) for strategic submissions.
  • Be the owner of Media Excellence addressable new business pitch content and brief response frameworks.
  • Work on driving best practice and continued development for all pitches.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the digital media industry and media market dynamics demonstrated by significant experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem and key players (DSPs, AD Exchanges, Networks, SSPs, DMP, CDP).
  • Experience working across Programmatic.
  • Have the ability to navigate large and complex global client organization.
  • Have the ability to integrate and co-operate with different business functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ideally comfortable in a consultative, client-facing environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with the clients and other agencies.
  • Able to deal with high pressure situations.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to draw conclusions based on data.
  • Fundamental knowledge of ad targeting methodologies.
  • Experience with statistics and related analysis methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to investigate, analyze and solve problems, and clearly communicate results.
  • Are able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn and apply new concepts and tools quickly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
