What we do




We're helping the world become more resilient to the impacts of physical climate risks (including floods, fires, storms and more). In doing so, we help drive positive global impact aligned to many of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's). Our team builds cutting-edge, peer-reviewed science (incorporating climate projections, remote sensing data) and translates that into financial impacts (to the value of assets or business disruption linked to failure of critical infrastructure) that our customers in the financial services industry use to identify, manage and mitigate those risks. Climate X's customers include the world's largest banks, asset managers and insurance companies including CBRE, Standard Chartered, Virgin Money and Federated Hermes, as well as a partnership ecosystem that includes Deloitte, Capgemini and AWS. THE IMPACT YOU'LL OWN





You will support the growth of our global partnerships function, assisting the success of Climate X by managing strategic alliances with market-leading consultancies and technology businesses. You will develop scalable partner onboarding and enablement programmes and foster long-term, commercially incentivising relationships to accelerate Climate X's market presence and impact.



You will source, qualify and manage key partnerships, define joint value propositions, and action joint go-to-market strategies.


A day in the life of a Partner Manager at Climate X





In this role, no two days will be the same as you will engage with a wide range of partner initiatives. You will:


Continuously asses how you can leverage AI and emerging tech to improve the efficiency and scalability of Climate X's partnership channels. Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing and customer success to enable partners, accelerate sales cycles and and expand Climate X's brand presence. Create video and written enablement content to support partner onboarding and education.



ESSENTIAL SKILLS




Experience in partnerships with a demonstrated ability to build and nurture executive-level relationships with partners, driving collaboration and commitment within the SaaS industry. Proven track record of driving revenue/pipeline and/or new logo growth through strategic partnerships. Strong track record of cultivating and maintaining partnerships with consultancy partners (e.g. big 4 consulting firms) and technology alliances (e.g. AWS). Experience in developing and executing joint value propositions and partnerships GTM strategies. Proven ability to design and deliver partner enablement materials and trainings. Ability to coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments (sales, product, marketing, legal, finance) to execute partnership plans. Ability to juggle multiple partnership initiatives at different stages (negotiation, launch, ongoing management) simultaneously.

DESIRABLE SKILLS




Deep understanding of the SaaS industry, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify valuable partners. A deep understanding of the SaaS business model, including the technical architecture, APIs, and integration points that can enable partnerships. A team player who can adapt to change and support the wider team on urgent priorities Experience planning and/or delivering partner marketing initiatives and partner-led events. Sustainability or climate physical risk knowledge or professional experience. Banking sector or Commercial real estate knowledge or experience. Experience using Hubspot and Notion is preferred.
