Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join our team at BMW Bristol.


We are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor with strong customer service skills and Parts background, to assist our dedicated team with the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department.

Key Responsibilities

Communicating with customers promptly and courteously, while fulfilling their orders. Assisting internal colleagues on the workshop counter Ensuring all parts are correctly checked against delivery notes, that they are binned accordingly and that all orders are checked before delivery note is signed. Handling phone enquiries efficiently and professionally. Ensuring that the Service Department requirements are dealt with accurately and information is passed on as comprehensively as possible. Assisting in stock checks and van deliveries where required. Packing and loading Parts correctly.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Previous dealership experience in Parts. Use of Kerridge or DRIVE would be advantageous, along with BMW knowledge which is preferred but not essential. Parts interpretation skills and knowledge of the Motor industry would be a clear benefit to help you succeed in this role as well as your enthusiasm for the BMW brand. We are looking for an ambitious candidate who has the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. A key component for us is someone with a passion for customer service, can do attitude, flexibility and an enthusiasm for cars.

Dick Lovett has been representing BMW for over 50 years and opened its Bristol location in 1997. As the largest dealership on the Bristol campus, BMW is also one of the most well-known by customers in the local area. We have team members who commute from around the South West to work in Bristol from Thornbury, Almondsbury, Bristol City Centre and Portbury.


The team works hard to provide a first-class service to both sales and aftersales customers. BMW Bristol is situated in Laurel Court just off the A4018, easily accessible from Junction 17 of the M5 motorway.
