Job Description

Are you ready to take your career to the next level with one of the fastest-growing, most innovative car brands in the world? Speedwell Kia Exeter is looking for a Parts Advisor to join our skilled and friendly, customer-focused team.

As an official Kia franchise, we're proud to represent a brand that's redefining what drivers expect from their cars. With Kia's commitment to electrification, cutting-edge technology, and bold design, you'll be working alongside a manufacturer at the forefront of automotive innovation.

But what truly sets Speedwell apart? We're family-owned, family-run, and fiercely proud of it. When you work at Speedwell, you're not just a number--you're part of the team. You'll get to know and work closely with the family behind the business, and you'll always have our full support. We believe in creating a workplace where people feel valued, heard, and supported to thrive--many of our staff have been with us from day one, and that loyalty speaks volumes.

What you'll be doing:

Handle all parts sales enquiries from retail and trade customers, providing accurate information, quotations, and excellent customer service at all times. Identify and supply the correct parts to customers and workshop technicians to ensure "right first time" parts supply. Maintain effective communication with technicians and service advisors to support efficient job completion and minimise delays. Receive, check, and process all parts deliveries from Kia and other suppliers, ensuring deliveries are accurate, complete, and free from damage. Monitor and maintain stock levels and assist with regular stock checks. Promote additional products, accessories, and value-added services to customers to maximise sales opportunities. Contribute to achieving departmental targets for sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Who We're Looking For:

Experience: Proven experience in Vehicle Parts or similar position, ideally Main Dealership experience. Confident in operating parts management and ordering systems. Holder of a valid UK driving license. People Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and customers alike. Organisational Skills: Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Commitment to Quality & Compliance: A respect for high quality work and commitment to company standards, health and safety regulations, and statutory compliance requirements. Adaptability: Open to change and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, managing new tasks or challenges as they arise.
